1. Thumb Rule: Speak loudly, clearly and slowly.
2. Arrive at venue of the interview before the schedule or make yourself free to attend telephonic interview.
3. Keep a pen and paper ready to take any further notes.
4. Maintain calm and composed feeling throughout the interview.
5. Try to sound enthusiastic in the entire process of the interview.
6. Beside clear and complete while answering the questions.
7. In case of an international call, there may be few seconds of delay in voice transmission. Please align your conversation with it.
8. Show your courtesy in your conversation.
9. Conclude your interview with thanking the interviewer.
10. Call the interviewer by his/her first name.
11. Do research and find out the requirements of the job and gather related information.
12. Assess the requirements of job and accordingly answer questions so that interviewer can get feel that you are the perfect match for the same.
13. Do not use words “involved in”, instead you can say sentences that are starting with “I was responsible for” or “I discharged duties like” or “I coordinated”.
14. If the question is not clear. Don’t hesitate to ask the interviewer to repeat it again. But be polite while asking for the same.
15. In case you worked as vendor anywhere, mention it clearly.
16. Highlight your hands-on skills, trainings and certifications (if any) you possess.
17. Don’t ever discuss your personal issues.
